Introducing the Rolls-Royce Spectre! It’s Rolls-Royce’s first venture into the world of electric cars, and Carwow’s Mat Watson is about to discover whether replacing a V12 engine with electric motors was a wise decision. Let’s start with the exterior. There’s no denying that this is an incredibly large car, but it has been kept relatively simple – and we believe that works well to highlight the car’s elegance. Along the side, the true size of the car is revealed, stretching to 5.5 meters long! The traditional thick center caps on the alloys are retained, and there’s the distinctive hand-painted coachline that runs along the width of the car. At the front, there’s a large 100% metal grille and a set of daytime running lights positioned above the headlights. It looks fantastic!

The Spectre comes with a price tag starting at £330,000 and may be one of the most luxurious EVs in the World!

Stepping inside, the Spectre is just as luxurious as any other Rolls-Royce. Aside from one stalk on the steering wheel, the cabin is filled with soft-touch, high-quality materials. It’s the first Rolls-Royce to feature fully digital dials, and there’s a large infotainment screen using BMW’s infotainment system. The cabin is equipped with numerous physical buttons and dials, and despite being a three-door, there’s more than enough room for passengers in the back.

The Spectre is equipped with a 102kWh battery pack with a claimed range of up to 329 miles. It also comes with two electric motors that combine to produce 577hp. The car is quite heavy, weighing in at 2,890kg! The Spectre comes with a price tag starting at £330,000. It may be one of the most luxurious EVs on the planet, but can it compete with the V12 power of the Phantom or Wraith? Stick with Carwow’s Mat Watson to find out!
