The all-new 2025 Nissan Kicks combines bold design with impressive technology, making it a standout in the sub-compact SUV category. Recently, it was named “Sub-Compact SUV of Texas” at the 2024 Texas Auto Writers Association (TAWA) Truck Rodeo, which took place during the San Antonio Auto and Truck Show.

Automotive journalists and content creators evaluated various vehicles based on factors such as interior and exterior design, value, performance, and overall appeal during the Truck Rodeo held on September 26-27 at Eagles Canyon Raceway in Decatur, Texas. Judges assessed vehicles within their respective categories as well as against the entire field of participants.

The all-new 2025 Nissan Kicks is an impressive small crossover and truly deserves this year’s Sub-Compact SUV of Texas honor,” stated Cory Fourniquet, president of TAWA. “This SUV is great for modern Texas families, offering many features without breaking the bank.”

Nick Reese, director and chief marketing manager at Nissan Americas, added, “The all-new Nissan Kicks excels in providing available technology, striking design, and a confident driving experience. We are grateful for this important recognition from the TAWA jurors, which demonstrates how Kicks is elevating the standards among compact crossovers.”

The 2025 Nissan Kicks is designed to handle city streets and beyond, featuring unexpected levels of available technology, a street-smart design inspired by high-end sneakers, best-in-class standard ground clearance, and a more versatile, spacious interior. The new model also enhances driving confidence with the introduction of Intelligent All-Wheel Drive and available ProPILOT Assist.

The new Kicks are now available for sale, with a manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP) starting at $21,000, reflecting less than a $500 increase compared to the previous generation model.
