CALLUM has completed a polished version of the Jaguar C-X75, following his earlier work on a stunt car from the James Bond film “Spectre.”

In this latest project, he enhanced the C-X75 by combining performance, comfort, and convenience, resulting in a thrilling, personalized car that meets the customer’s vision.

CALLUM worked closely with the owner of the C-X75 to integrate every detailed request into the final build. Utilizing Car 001, this project exceeds standard modifications required for Individual Vehicle Approval (IVA) certification. It now boasts a re-engineered drivetrain, active aerodynamics, and a contemporary interior that enhances the driving experience.

I always felt the C-X75 was ‘the one that got away’—a car with untapped potential,” says Ian Callum, who created the car in 2010 and is now the design director and co-founder of CALLUM. “We’ve blended the customer’s wishes with engineered solutions to finally realize its potential.”

The supercharged V8 engine is paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission.

Thanks to CALLUM’s in-house software and proprietary body and comfort electronics, the C-X75 can now perform as a usable road car or, when desired, switch into a dynamic sporting mode. On command, gear shifts become sharper, throttle response is more immediate, and the exhaust system, tuned by an acoustic expert, enhances the experience with its exhilarating soundtrack.

CALLUM’s engineers have created an advanced active aerodynamics package that enhances performance. At speeds above 60 km/h, it provides additional downforce for improved stability and handling, while an air brake function adds control during hard braking.

For city driving, the hydraulic front lift suspension offers practical benefits. CALLUM has fine-tuned its road-focused setup for a neutral balance in turns and stability at higher speeds. The original 20-inch front and 21-inch rear wheels are fitted with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires, suitable for both road and track use.

The exterior has been elevated with over 1,000 hours of craftsmanship, ensuring precise panel alignment and a deep Willow Green paint finish inspired by the muted hues of willow tree leaves. Distinctive features include brushed aluminum window surrounds, a bespoke filler cap, carbon fiber accents, and a polished grille. Subtle details like the etched C-X75 emblem on the exhaust and enhanced rear light diffusion add to the car’s striking design.

Inside, the transformation is striking. The stunt car’s functional cockpit has been replaced with a premium, driver-focused environment. The interior features a sophisticated blend of dark green and cream tones, divided by a bold 40-degree “waterline.”

Sporting cars typically have darker interiors, while comfort is associated with lighter shades,” explains Aleck Jones, head of design at CALLUM. “We wanted to fuse these elements to reflect the car’s dual nature.”

The interior showcases various leather textures, highlighted by the prominent “Arrowhead Necklace” feature that wraps around the cockpit. Three tactile rotary controls angle toward the driver, each with integrated touchscreens. A wireless charging pad and Apple CarPlay enhance the intuitive user experience, connecting to a powerful sound system.

The minimalist cockpit features an acrylic cover for the digital instrument cluster, with all other controls, including the start button, in a roof-mounted console. “Clean and beautiful, the interior is simple, not simplistic,” adds Jones.

The seats, chosen for support, are upholstered in Bridge of Weir leather with three-point seat belts. The custom-machined steering wheel is tailored to the customer’s specifications. Additional features include a digital rear-view mirror and an electronic park brake, showcasing CALLUM’s extensive transformation of the stunt car.

Transforming a raw stunt car into a refined modern supercar posed significant challenges, but it excited our team,” says Adam Donfrancesco, CALLUM’s engineering director. “Integrating features like air conditioning and premium audio while managing noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH)—all while ensuring it sounded incredible—was a thrilling challenge, and the results speak for themselves.”

CALLUM’s engineers also leveraged advanced additive manufacturing with Stratasys, allowing for innovative designs and complex forms. This includes clever interior elements like the sill trim that incorporates cup holders, showcasing a blend of functionality and style.

The refined C-X75 is part of CALLUM’s bespoke one-of-one projects from its Warwick, UK headquarters. “By reengineering this supercar and producing the CALLUM Vanquish 25 along with other low-volume projects, CALLUM is proving its ability to turn vision into reality,” adds managing director David Fairbairn.
