Kia America recorded its highest January sales in company history in 2025, with 57,007 units sold, a 12-percent increase from the previous year. Retail sales at Kia dealerships also set a new January record, up 10 per cent year-over-year, indicating strong double-digit growth.

This performance included surging sales of SUVs and electrified models, surpassing January 2024 records. Five Kia models achieved all-time January sales highs: Forte/K4 (+29 per cent), EV6 (+27 per cent), Carnival (+22 per cent), Telluride (+16 per cent), and Sportage (+14 per cent).

Eric Watson, vice president of sales operations at Kia America, stated, “Kia is experiencing a continuous increase in SUV sales, driven by the appeal of our X-LINE models and the launch of the K4.” He emphasised the brand’s aim for continued growth in the U.S. with a lineup of innovative ICE, hybrid, plug-in hybrid, and electric vehicles.
