Auto Trader, the UK’s largest automotive marketplace, has introduced a new feature called ‘New Car Offers’ to enhance lead conversions. This functionality allows retailers to display clear new car finance offers directly on their platform listings.
With 90% of buyers financing new cars, showcasing clear monthly payments builds trust and attracts serious shoppers. Additionally, 84% of consumers believe the ability to compare cars and finance offers easily is crucial to their purchasing decisions. The integrated tool enables retailers to provide a single FCA-compliant finance example, enhancing clarity and expediting the decision-making process for customers.
The seamless technical integration makes it easy for retailers to attach finance offers to new car stock, optimising their ability to capitalize on demand with transparent pricing.
This launch comes after an 11% year-on-year increase in visits to Auto Trader’s new car platform, along with a 6% rise in the new car market so far this year. Bex Kennett, New Car Performance Director at Auto Trader, emphasised the importance of providing transparency and confidence to consumers throughout their car-buying journey.
Retailers such as Mark Busby from Hendy Group and Craig Carter from D.M. Keith observed that this new feature will enhance buyer confidence and facilitate transactions, enabling them to close sales more efficiently.
