Kia has been voted the top brand for the fifth consecutive time in the National Franchised Dealers Association (NFDA) Winter 2025 Dealer Attitude Survey (DAS). This achievement highlights Kia’s strong brand and dealer satisfaction performance, which has maintained a top-three ranking in all 18 NFDA surveys.
In the latest survey, Kia earned an overall score of 9.3 out of 10, matching the previous results and significantly above the industry average of 7.2. A notable 76% of Kia’s UK dealer network participated in the survey, well above the industry average of 61.3%. Kia topped 29 of the 56 questions, particularly in electric vehicle categories.
Kia plans to launch the EV4 and EV5 fully electric models this year, alongside new versions of the popular Sportage SUV and the sporty EV6 GT. The company will also introduce its first dedicated fully electric PBV, the PV5, which will have van and passenger versions.
Sue Robinson, CEO of the NFDA, praised Kia for its continued success, while Paul Philpott, President and CEO of Kia UK, expressed pride in the results and gratitude to their dealer partners for their support.
Kia has experienced impressive growth in the UK, achieving nearly 20,000 new car sales in March and ranking as the third best-selling car brand with a 6.0% market share. As a leader in electrification, every second Kia sold is an eco model, and the EV3 has become the UK’s best-selling retail-market EV in Q1 2025.
The NFDA is committed to representing franchised car and commercial vehicle retailers in the UK. It encompasses over 4,500 franchise outlets and 600,000 employees within the automotive retail sector.
