For the upcoming model year, the XC60 is undergoing a significant refresh, featuring important updates in user experience, design, and comfort. It will also include a faster and more responsive infotainment system. Additionally, the broader model range will see several noteworthy enhancements.
Since its introduction in 2017, the XC60 has been Volvo Cars’ best-selling model and one of the top-selling plug-in hybrids in Europe. Over 1.5 million XC60s have been sold worldwide, with 2024 setting a new sales record.

The refreshed XC60 is now available to order in select countries. The availability and timing of the 2026-model-year versions will vary by market.
New User Experience with a Larger Screen: The refreshed XC60 features Volvo Cars’ new user experience, designed for safe and enjoyable interaction with the central infotainment screen. This updated interface is more personalised and includes built-in Google services*.
Starting this year, all new Volvo vehicles will offer this user experience. Around 2.5 million existing customers will receive an over-the-air update later this year.
The XC60 now boasts an 11.2-inch free-standing touchscreen, offering a crisper display with 21% increased pixel density, along with new features, apps, and updates.
Faster Infotainment System: Powered by Qualcomm Technologies’ Snapdragon Cockpit Platform, the infotainment system is more than twice as fast as before, with ten times faster graphics. This enhances responsiveness and reduces driver distraction, improving safety.
Modern Design and Smart Interior: The XC60 features a contemporary exterior with updated air intake and new wheel options. Two new colors, Forest Lake and Aurora Silver, join the palette, along with Mulberry Red.
Inside, a mix of updated materials and smart storage solutions provides practicality. Enhanced cupholders and a wireless phone charger add to the convenience.
Enhanced Comfort and Audio Quality: The XC60 offers a quieter cabin and Volvo’s acclaimed seat comfort. Options like air suspension and laminated windows enhance luxury. It is equipped with advanced air purification technology for better well-being.
For audio enthusiasts, the XC60 features the Bowers & Wilkins High Fidelity system, delivering exceptional sound quality that replicates music as intended by the artist.
