Volkswagen UK has recently received eight awards for its class-leading cars in just 32 days. The winning streak began in September at the Caravan and Motorhome Club Towcar of the Year 2025 awards, where the Volkswagen ID.7 Match Pro won for towing caravans weighing less than 1,200 kg, and the Volkswagen Golf Estate Style triumphed in the category for towing caravans weighing 1,200 to 1,300 kg.
The Diesel Top, 50 awards from Diesel&EcoCar magazine, followed next, with the Golf placing second overall and earning the title of Best Diesel Medium Car and the Tiguan being voted Best Diesel Medium SUV.
In October, the Golf, celebrating its 50th birthday, was named The Sunday Times Legend Car of the Year and The Sun Legend Car at the News UK Motor Awards 2024. The Golf GTI also received the Best Hot Hatchback award at the Carbuyer Best Car Awards for 2025.
The trophy haul was completed when Parkers named the ID.7 the UK’s Best Large Family Car.
