On March 25th, BYD achieved a significant milestone by rolling off its 7 millionth new energy vehicle, with the Marque’s higher-end DENZA N7, achieving this at its Jinan factory in China. This marks a major accomplishment for the brand, as it became the world’s first automaker to reach this milestone. In 2023, BYD’s cumulative annual sales of NEVs soared to 3.02 million units, solidifying its status as the global leader in NEV sales.
Additionally, BYD became the top Chinese exporter of NEVs in 2023 and the official partner of UEFA European Football Championship 2024™. Looking ahead, BYD aims to further expand its global presence and drive the automotive industry towards a greener era.
Here in the UK BYD currently sells the ATTO 3, Dolphin and Seal with the ATTO 3 winning The Motor Awards, “The Electric Car Of The Year” award in 2023. So it’s fair to say; BYD is most probably one to watch going forward!
