The Audi Concept C made its UK debut at a special London event hosted by Massimo Frascella, Audi’s Chief Creative Officer. This new concept car embodies Audi’s future design philosophy of “radical simplicity,” emphasising clarity and emotional appeal.
Frascella stated, “True clarity comes from reducing everything to the essentials.” The Concept C honours Audi’s legacy of innovation seen in iconic models like the Ur-quattro and R8, featuring an updated Singleframe grille inspired by the 1936 Auto Union Type C.
Audi UK Director José Miguel Aparicio noted that London’s innovative spirit makes it a fitting location for showcasing the Concept C. The interior emphasises simplicity with anodised aluminium, geometric shapes, and a new round steering wheel with haptic features. For the first time, the Concept C features a retractable folding hardtop, providing versatile driving capabilities.
The launch took place at Below The Lights, a venue at Piccadilly Circus featuring a stunning 14-meter-wide LED display that highlighted the Concept C’s craftsmanship.
