The Bugatti versus Koenigsegg rematch is finally here, and fans have been looking forward to it.
Last year, we raced the Chiron Super Sport against the Jesko Attack. This time, Mat and the Carwow team are taking it up a notch. As before, they have the same Chiron Super Sport, but this time they’re putting it up against the top version of the Jesko, the Absolut. Plus, it runs on E85 fuel!
Can the Koenigsegg make up for last year’s loss? Let’s look at the stats.
First up is the Bugatti Chiron Super Sport. It has an 8-litre quad-turbo W16 engine with 1600hp and 1600 Nm of torque. Power is sent to all four wheels via a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox, and it weighs 1,995 kg. After some interior and exterior upgrades, this car is now worth £5,000,000.
The Koenigsegg uses a 5-litre twin-turbo V8 engine. With E85 fuel, it makes 1,600hp and 1,500Nm of torque. Power goes only to the rear wheels through a 9-speed multi-clutch gearbox, and it weighs 1,390kg. Like the Bugatti, it’s valued at £5,000,000.
This is the rematch everyone has been waiting for, and both cars have the same power. Can the Koenigsegg beat the Bugatti this time?
