Refined Driving Experience Without Compromise
Polestar has announced a comprehensive update for the Polestar 4, with improvements focused on driving dynamics, comfort and environmental performance.
According to Michael Lohscheller, CEO of Polestar, the latest revisions make the Polestar 4 “better than ever”, delivering a more refined ride, greater driver enjoyment and improved sustainability without compromising the vehicle’s performance credentials.
Rear Motor and Dual Motor variants now feature a recalibrated chassis with upgraded high-capacity passive dampers, revised spring and anti-roll bar settings, plus new polyurethane rebound stops replacing traditional internal rebound springs. Steering calibration has also been refined to improve precision and feedback.
The result is a more composed and confidence-inspiring driving experience, with improved agility alongside greater ride comfort across a wider range of road conditions.
Still the Fastest Polestar SUV
Despite its focus on refinement, performance remains central to the Polestar 4’s appeal.
The all-wheel drive Dual Motor model continues to be the quickest vehicle in the Polestar SUV range, accelerating from 0-62mph in just 3.8 seconds, while simultaneously achieving the lowest overall carbon footprint of any Polestar model produced to date.
Further Reductions in Carbon Emissions
Sustainability remains a core pillar of Polestar’s product strategy.
The updated Polestar 4 now records a cradle-to-gate carbon footprint of:

- 20.3 tonnes CO₂e – Dual Motor
The Dual Motor variant has reduced its lifecycle emissions by 1.1 tonnes CO₂e since launch, highlighting the manufacturer’s continued focus on lowering environmental impact throughout production.
