Goodwood confirmed that six current Formula 1 teams will attend the Festival of Speed presented by Mastercard from July 11th to 14th. After the British Grand Prix, the teams will display their cars in the F1 Pit Lane presented by Sky, offering visitors a rare chance to see legendary cars and meet the teams and drivers.
The teams confirmed to join us are: BWT Alpine F1 Team, Scuderia Ferrari HP, McLaren Formula 1 Team, Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One Team, Oracle Red Bull Racing, and Williams Racing.
The F1 Pit Lane sponsored by Sky will be the central area for teams over the weekend. It’s a special space where the public, drivers, and engineers prepare their cars for runs up the Hill. Visitors can meet their Formula 1 heroes and see cars from the early days of Grand Prix racing to the present, alongside the teams that run them.
Williams Racing announced that its current drivers, including Alex Albon and Logan Sargeant, will drive the 1982 Driver’s Championship-winning FW08 at the Festival of Speed weekend. Oracle Red Bull Racing will also debut the RB17 Hypercar with past and present drivers at the event, celebrating the brand’s past and future vision at Goodwood’s Cathedral Paddock.
Further announcements about the 2024 Festival of Speed, including details about attending Formula 1 drivers and cars, will be made in the coming weeks.
