From Yorkshire To New York Racetracks.

First international showcase of the TBug, Twisted’s new Baja-inspired model.

From Yorkshire workshops to New York racetracks: Twisted expands worldwide.

Twisted, a British car manufacturer known for customising the Land Rover Defender, has officially launched in America, representing a major milestone in its global growth. This follows the opening of a showroom in Yokohama, Japan, in September 2025, and the launch of the TBug earlier this year.

Following expansion into Japan and decades of craftsmanship, Twisted launches its official presence in the US.

Founded in 2000 in North Yorkshire, Twisted is renowned for its hand-crafted vehicles, with each Defender carefully rebuilt to blend traditional British engineering with contemporary design and performance. Rarity remains essential, with prices ranging from £180,000 to £320,000.

Twisted is commencing its U.S. debut at the Monticello Motor Club (MMC) in New York’s Catskill Mountains. The inaugural event will take place on Saturday, 11 October, during the club’s final race of the season, featuring several models such as the T110 TV8 double cab and the TBug.

Guests will enjoy exclusive drives through the Catskills and a traditional Yorkshire meal. Founder Charles Fawcett emphasised the importance of this launch, while director Jonathan Wilson highlighted the aim of fostering a community of car enthusiasts in the UK. This signals a wave of British luxury brands establishing their presence abroad.

Charles Fawcett concluded, “With expansion into Japan and now America, Twisted is cementing its position as a global luxury automotive brand, while staying true to our philosophy: stay anti-ordinary.”
