The Alpine A290 range is available to order, with customers able to save £3,750 through the Government Electric Car Grant (ECG). The updated models—GT+, GT Performance+, and GTS+—feature one-pedal driving and a two-tone color scheme at no extra cost, starting at £30,245, including the grant.

Renault Group meets Science Based Target Initiative standards and sources batteries from the Douai gigafactory, complying with UK environmental rules. Nicola Burnside, head of Alpine Cars UK, noted that the grant will boost interest in the award-winning A290, highlighting it as a fun and exciting electric hatchback.

Orders for the updated models can now be placed, with deliveries starting early next year. Custom packages include the Signature Colourline Pack with Bleu and Rouge options, along with UK-specific packs Tricolore Design and Signature Tricolore, featuring unique designs and added safety features.

The Alpine A290 is the reigning Car of the Year and was named Autocar’s Best Fun EV earlier this year.
