BMW’s Classic Partner programme has officially launched in the UK, enlisting select retailers with proven expertise in classic BMW vehicles. These partners bring deep heritage knowledge, access to authentic BMW Classic parts, and factory-approved standards. Their appointment brings local, dedicated support to UK owners, reinforcing the value and longevity of classic BMWs through the globally renowned BMW Classic programme.
According to Werner Pagenstert, BMW UK Customer Support Director for Aftersales, the programme marks a major milestone for BMW Classic in the UK. By officially recognising four retailers, BMW is strengthening support for enthusiasts passionate about preserving and enjoying their classic cars, while maintaining alignment with the international BMW Group Classic network.
The inaugural UK BMW Classic Partners are:
Halliwell Jones Wilmslow: Celebrated for longstanding BMW expertise, now supporting classic BMW enthusiasts across the North West.
Phil Jones, Aftersales Director at Halliwell Jones, expressed pride in the launch, highlighting classic BMWs as more than vehicles—they are stories and memories to be preserved for future generations. The new partnership represents a significant commitment to the brand’s rich heritage and its customers’ passion.
Sytner Stevenage: Serving the South East with manufacturer-approved heritage expertise and state-of-the-art facilities.
Manjit Ahluwalia, Head of Business at Sytner Stevenage, emphasised the dealership’s deep-rooted legacy and expertise, with specialists boasting decades of experience in BMW restoration and care, ensuring that both vehicles and their histories are meticulously preserved.
Group 1 Hailsham: Delivering dedicated support to BMW Classic enthusiasts along the South Coast.
Technician Adam Hook shared his personal connection to classic BMWs, describing restoration as a way to create lasting memories and generational pride.
