The Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV (Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle) and the latest-generation Mitsubishi L200 Series 7 double-cab pickup will be available in the UK from summer 2026, with limited initial availability.

Both the Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV and L200 have achieved strong sales in their respective segments. The new models incorporate advanced technology and reflect Mitsubishi’s commitment to robust engineering and customer satisfaction. They are designed to appeal to both existing and new customers seeking modern SUVs and pickups.

Launched in 2014, the original all-wheel-drive Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV combined versatility, safety, and sustainability. It has been the best-selling PHEV in its class over the past decade, with more than 50,000 UK registrations.

The latest Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV is 2.5 cm longer, 6.2 cm wider, and 3.8 cm taller than its predecessor. It features an enhanced 2.4-litre petrol engine and a traction battery powering front and rear electric motors. The EV-based 4WD powertrain delivers over 300 hp and a driving range exceeding 500 miles*.

The twin-motor 4WD powertrain works with Mitsubishi Motors’ Super-All Wheel Control (S-AWC) system, which manages driving and braking forces at all four wheels for improved handling and stability. Multiple drive modes and terrain settings support performance in various conditions.

The Outlander PHEV interior offers practicality, versatility, and a premium finish. For the first time in the UK, a seven-seat version will be available.

The Mitsubishi L200 pick-up was introduced to the UK in the mid-1980s as a single-cab Series 2, with the Series 3 introducing the double-cab model. Series 4, 5, and 6 further increased its popularity, with cumulative sales exceeding 180,000 units. The new Series 7 aims to attract both long-standing and new customers.

The Series 7 L200 features a rugged, modern exterior and a cabin with significant improvements in design, technology, and material quality.

The Mitsubishi L200 is equipped with a reengineered 2.4-litre two-stage bi-turbo diesel engine, offering increased power and torque. The Super Select 4WD-II system offers two- and four-wheel-drive options, including a centre differential lock and seven driving modes: Normal, ECO, Gravel, Snow, Mud, Sand, and Rock.
