Hyundai Reveals New Bayon Crossover.

The new Bayon is powered by a 1.0 turbocharged T-GDi engine, with a maximum power output of 100PS.

The new Bayon boasts LED headlights and taillights as standard, along with a redesigned front bumper, new grille mesh design, and stylish 16- and 17-inch alloy wheels. It also introduces four striking new exterior paint colors and offers a two-tone paint option for the Premium trim, ensuring a range of compelling customization choices for discerning buyers.

The updated crossover SUV is available to order from June 6.

The crossover SUV has exterior enhancements and a new Vibrant Blue interior colour pack. It includes blue accents on the door panels and air vents, contrasting stitching on the dashboard and upholstery, multi-colour ambient lighting, a new seat pattern, and a glass sunroof with electric tilt & slide..

The new Bayon is available in three trims: Advance, Premium, and Ultimate. All trims are equipped with a 1.0 turbocharged T-GDi engine, delivering a maximum power output of 100PS. This engine can be paired with either a 6-speed manual transmission (6MT) or a 7-speed dual clutch transmission, providing maximum torque of 172 Nm and 200 Nm respectively.

The vehicle is equipped with a comprehensive array of standard safety features, including airbags, Lane Follow Assist, Lane Keep Assist, Forward Collision Avoidance Assist, eCall, Intelligent Speed Limit Assist, rear view camera, and parking sensors. Premium and Ultimate models offer additional features, such as Blind Spot Collision Warning. For added peace of mind, the optional driver assistance pack, available for £800 on Premium and Ultimate models, introduces Smart Cruise Control, FCA 1.5, and Blind Spot Collision Avoidance Assist.

The Advance 1.0T 100PS with 6-speed manual transmission starts at £22,480. This trim includes 16-inch alloy wheels, automatic headlights, electric heated and folding door mirrors, LED lights, rear view camera, 10.25” touchscreen navigation, Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™, USB ports, cruise control, and ambient lighting. The Advance trim is also available with a 7-speed dual clutch transmission.

Priced from £23,880, the Premium 1.0T 100PS with a 6-speed manual transmission adds automatic climate control, 17-inch alloy wheels, auto-dimming rearview mirror, rain-sensing wipers, front parking sensors, rear USB C port, defog function, privacy glass, and heated steering wheel and front seats. The Premium trim is also available with black exterior styling and an alternative 7-speed dual-clutch transmission option.

Starting at £25,280, the Ultimate trim level offers features such as a BOSE Premium sound system, wireless phone charging, Blind Spot Collision Warning, smart key with engine start button, and a glass sunroof with electric tilt & slide. It also has a 7-speed dual clutch transmission option. Bayon models are available in nine exterior colors, with different pricing options for certain colors and additional black exterior styling available for Premium models at an extra cost.
