The Renault Clio has been named the best small car at the UK Car of the Year Awards 2024. This award recognises the Clio’s position as the leading car in its category, and is yet another addition to its impressive collection of awards since it was first introduced in 1990.
The latest generation of the Clio was launched last year and it has impressed a panel of 30 UK motoring journalists with its exceptional combination of style, value, comfort, and practicality. The car’s electrified hybrid drivetrain was also a standout feature that convinced the experienced panel to name the Clio as the best new small car on sale in the UK. The judging panel had a lot of positive comments to make about the Clio’s qualities.

The Renault Clio is a strong contender for the UK Car of the Year 2024 title. The winner will be announced on 8th March. The car comes with a range of powertrain options, including an innovative full hybrid, and features bold styling and a cutting-edge digital experience. The three-model line-up starts at £17,795 OTR, and customers can benefit from an extra £500 deposit contribution when they purchase any new Renault passenger car via the brand’s own finance offers during Renault’s current Test Drive event, which runs until 11th March.
Renault is offering a Personal Contract Purchase (PCP) deal with 7.9% APR representative. This offer can be combined with an enhanced deposit contribution of £1,500 to help customers purchase a new Clio esprit Alpine TCe 90 for just £199 per month. Additionally, customers can choose the E-Tech full hybrid 145 version which is also available for an identical monthly payment with a £1,250 contribution.
