JAECOO has delivered its first 8 SHS-P vehicles to UK customers, officially launching the brand’s new flagship on British roads. The model, introduced earlier this year, is now available through 136 retailers nationwide, with prices starting at £45,500 for the 5+2 Luxury and £47,500 for the 4+2 Executive versions.
The JAECOO 8 SHS-P, now the flagship of the range, offers three-row luxury and joins a line-up that includes the award-winning JAECOO 7—the UK’s best-selling new car in March 2026—and the compact JAECOO 5. The strong early demand highlights JAECOO’s rapid growth and rising customer confidence in the UK market.
All JAECOO 8 SHS-P models feature Chery International’s Super Hybrid System, combining a 1.5-litre turbocharged engine, plug-in hybrid technology, and all-wheel drive. The system produces up to 428 PS and 580 Nm, accelerates from 0-62 mph in 5.8 seconds, and offers a driving range over 700 miles with CO2 emissions as low as 14 g/km.
Two configurations are available: the 5+2-seat Luxury, designed for flexibility and family use, and the 4+2-seat Executive, which emphasizes comfort with four heated, ventilated, and massaging captain’s chairs. Both models feature adaptable interiors and practical storage solutions.
The 4+2-seat JAECOO 8 SHS-P Executive takes a more focused approach to comfort and refinement, placing greater emphasis on passenger comfort and a premium rear-seat experience. The interior is centred around four heated, ventilated and massaging captain’s chairs, creating a more considered and spacious environment for those travelling in both the front and second rows. Extendable thigh support for the driver, a more open cabin layout and carefully integrated seating positions contribute to a calmer, more composed atmosphere on the move. Two additional foldable seats are positioned in the rear for occasional use, ensuring practicality without compromising the overall sense of space and comfort.
A new cognac interior option, priced at £1,000, is available for both versions, adding a warmer, more premium feel to the cabin.

The launch of the JAECOO 8 SHS-P follows a year of rapid growth for JAECOO in the UK, underscored by the JAECOO 7’s record-breaking sales in March 2026.
Both JAECOO 8 SHS-P models are available through the brand’s 136 UK dealers and include a 7-year/100,000-mile warranty, an 8-year battery warranty for hybrid variants, and RAC Home Start coverage.
