Škoda has announced a significant specification update for its Fabia and Karoq ranges. As part of the brand’s commitment to delivering exceptional value to customers, both models enjoy a boost in standard equipment along with the availability of updated, more efficient drivetrains.

The 2024 Karoq has three trim grades: SE Drive, SE L, and SportLine, all with enhanced standard specifications. All models come with Lane Assist, Care Connect, and Infotainment Online, among other features.

SE Drive models have a 10.25-inch Virtual Cockpit and Wireless smartphone charging. SE L models have 18-inch Procyon silver alloy wheels with anthracite aero inserts. SportLine models have two tablet holders and ISOFIX on the front passenger seat. All models have new rear badging.

The engine choices include four petrol engines and one diesel. The previous 1.0 TSI engine has been replaced with a newer engine that delivers improved efficiency and more power. The 1.5 TSI engine with a six-speed manual or seven-speed DSG transmission can be specified. Both the 2.0 TDI diesel engine and the 2.0 TSI petrol engine come with a seven-speed DSG and 4×4 as standard.

Prices start at £28,380 OTR for the 1.0 TSI SE Drive model. SE L models start at £30,215 OTR, while SportLine models start at £35,130 OTR.

The Fabia range has been updated with improved specifications across all models. There are four trims: SE Comfort, Colour Edition, SE L, and Monte Carlo. All models now come standard with Traffic Sign Recognition, Wireless Smartlink, and Care Connect (with a 3-year subscription).

SE Comfort models have an 8-inch digital display, a larger 8.25-inch infotainment screen, a front centre armrest, textile floor mats, and two additional rear speakers.

Colour Edition models have a larger 8.25-inch infotainment display, Cruise control with speed limiter, rear electric windows, and rear LED lights as standard.

SE L versions have a 10.25-inch Virtual cockpit display, Hill hold, rear LED lights, privacy glass, and door sills with Fabia badging.

Monte Carlo models have a larger 8.25-inch infotainment display, Cruise control with speed limiter, front seat lumbar support, LED rear lights, updated interior inserts, and Hill hold.

The 2024 MY Fabia now has a new 1.0 TSI engine from the brand’s EVO2 generation with an output of 116PS, fitted with a six-speed manual gearbox as standard, with an option of a seven-speed DSG.

Prices start from £19,730 OTR for the 1.0 MPI SE Comfort model, £20,530 OTR for the Colour Edition, £22,465 OTR for the SE L, and £22,965 OTR for the Monte Carlo models.

Karoq and Fabia models now offer updated interiors. Karoq has four options – Loft, Lounge, Suite, and Eco Suite. SportLine has sports seats, while Lounge SportLine and Suite SportLine come with standard seats. Fabia SE Comfort has Studio interior, SE L has Lodge, Color Edition has Loft, and Monte Carlo has Monte Carlo interior.
