MG has just announced that the Cyberster, their highly-anticipated EV roadster, is now available to order with the first UK deliveries planned for August, 2024.

The Cyberster Trophy is available from £54,995 OTR and boasts impressive power figures of 340PS (250kW) with maximum torque confirmed at 350 lb-ft (475 Nm). It can go from 0 to 62mph in just 5.0 seconds.

The upcoming Cyberster GT from MG will be the brand’s new flagship model, and the most powerful production car in MG’s 100-year history, boasting an impressive 503PS (375kW) and 725Nm (535 lb ft) of torque. This dual-motor, all-wheel-drive GT can accelerate from 0-62mph in just 3.2 seconds. The Cyberster GT and the Trophy are both equipped with four drive modes – Comfort, Custom, Sport, and Track – that allow drivers to explore the car’s full potential, from refined, long-distance touring to pure performance-focused options.

The Cyberster GT’s electrifying performance is combined with a luxurious and technologically advanced cabin that takes the grand touring experience into the electric era. The cabin features 6-way electrically-adjustable heated seats with memory function and electric lumbar support, creating an environment that was previously reserved for ultra-expensive GTs. The heated steering wheel is distinctive and adjustable in 4 ways, and twin paddles assist with kinetic regeneration. The cabin space perfectly juxtaposes elegance and outright sportiness.

To enhance the enjoyment and comfort of extended roof-down driving, a wind deflector specially designed to minimize the impact of buffeting is positioned between the front seats. The 77k Wh battery in the Trophy and GT models offers an impressive blend of range and performance. The Trophy can cover a distance of up to 316 miles (WLTP), while the GT, which is more performance-oriented, can travel up to 276 miles.

David Allison, MG Head of Product and Planning, comments: “The Cyberster is a car designed to excite, whether through its head-turning design or its scintillating performance. Both the Trophy and GT are compelling two-seat EV sporting roadsters which promise to propel grand touring into the electric age.”

The Cyberster Trophy and GT are two electric grand tourers that underwent an 18-month development program in the UK led by MG’s Longbridge engineering team.

The roadster comes equipped with Brembo brakes and three-mode regenerative braking for maximum energy efficiency, and it has an impressive range thanks to rapid DC charging up to 150 kW.

The Trophy features a 19-inch alloy Lightning-design wheel, while the GT wears a 20-inch Jetstream-design with Pirelli P Zero tires for optimized performance and control.

Additionally, driver assistance features include Lane Change and Lane Keep Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control, Blind Spot Detection, Active Emergency Braking with pedestrian and bicycle detection, Traffic Jam Assist, Intelligent Speed Assist, and Intelligent Headlight Control.
