A vintage motorcycle discovered in a barn after being off the road for most of its life will be one of the main attractions at H&H Classics’ upcoming motorcycle sale on July 3rd at the National Motorcycle Museum in Solihull. The auction will include over 200 lots, with more than 70 offered without reserve.

The auction spotlight will be on a 1951 Vincent Black Shadow Series C, estimated to fetch between £25,000 and £ 30,000. The motorcycle has been off the road since the late 1970s and is believed to have last been used regularly in the 1960s. It is accompanied by a fascinating history, including sale receipts from 1955 and various engineer reports. The Vincent Owners Club has confirmed that the Series C boasts factory-correct number status.

Mike Davis, the motorcycle specialist at H&H Classics, promises a diverse selection at the auction. Enthusiasts from different eras of motorcycling will find something to pique their interest among the classic motorcycles and vintage scooters on offer.

Furthermore, a 1977 Triumph Silver Jubilee, described as the best example seen by Mike Davis, will also be up for sale.

All the lots can be viewed in person at the National Motorcycle Museum in Solihull on the afternoon of July 2nd. The auction will commence at 1pm on July 3rd and will be open for in-person, online, telephone, and commission bidding, making it accessible to all potential buyers.
