The upgraded Audi S3 has increased power output, torque splitter and advanced technology for powerful performance and agile handling. The design features a bold front, sporty diffuser and four-pipe performance exhaust. The S3 Sportback and Saloon models will be available from May.
With 333 PS and 420 Nm of torque, the S3 is more powerful than ever. The engine receives an output increase of 23 PS and 20 Nm of torque. Acceleration is strong, with 0-62mph in 4.7 seconds. Maximum torque is available from 2,100 – 5,500 rpm, and top speed is limited to 155 mph.
The engine and transmission have been given a sportier tuning. The preloaded turbocharger keeps at a constant rpm, improving performance. The seven-speed S tronic allows for more spontaneous takeoff with higher starting torque. Shift time for gearshifts under full load has been halved, and engine speeds increased under partial load resulting in improved responsiveness.
The S3 now has the same torque splitter tech as the RS 3, offering improved agility and stability. The system uses an electronically controlled clutch to distribute torque between the rear wheels inside and outside the curve, depending on the driving situation and Audi drive select mode.
The upgraded Audi S3 has a sportier appearance, with a flatter and wider grille and L-shaped design elements. The rear bumper has also been designed to look more dynamic than ever before, with the Single-frame’s distinctive L-wings reflected in the glossy black rear apron. Additionally, the vehicle’s design has been improved by new metallic finishes, such as District Green, Ascari Blue, and Progressive Red. Overall, the Audi S3’s progressive design is sure to turn heads.
The S3 model’s interior has been significantly revamped to match its striking exterior. The precision in detail of the alterations highlights the vehicle’s progressive and technical design.
The S3’s interior features dark colors with silver accents, including a black roof lining, stainless steel pedals, illuminated door sills with aluminum inserts featuring the S logo, and aluminum-style interior trim that emphasizes its sporty character. The steering wheel is a three-spoke sports contour leather one, flattened at the bottom, with multifunction buttons and new chrome-plated steering wheel paddles. Sports seats with integrated headrests and pronounced side bolsters provide enhanced lateral support.
