London Concours, the capital’s top automotive summer garden party, will host The City Challenge presented by Asetek SimSports from June 4th to 6th. Competitors will set the fastest lap in a McLaren MP4/4 at Silverstone using the latest simulator technology. The event will award both the Fastest Team in the City and the Fastest Overall Driver.
London Concours hosts the event in Armoury House’s Prince Consort room. It features a real-time leaderboard and is a test of driving skills. It can accommodate up to 100 visitors and offers an exclusive social experience.
Tickets to the London Concours are available for individuals at £100 and for teams of five at £500. The event will showcase privately owned cars, highlighting different aspects of automotive culture. Features include “British Racing,” showcasing stunning motorsport creations from Great Britain, “The Legendary V12,” paying homage to some of the greatest ever creations fitted with the automotive world’s most emotive powertrain, and classes celebrating the Chevrolet Corvette and the latest developments in hypercar design.
For the 2024 event, all three days will have an additional display due to the popularity of the 2023 Porsche RS and Supercar day. The first day will feature 50 McLaren supercars, the second day will welcome 50 Jaguar E-Type models, and the final day will showcase 50 of the latest supercars in association with Drivers Union.
