The success of the CUPRA Formentor is credited to the efforts of more than 4,000 employees involved in the production of its restyled version. A new car is completed every 69 seconds with meticulous attention to detail to ensure high quality. Innovative tools such as deep learning and advanced digitalized systems have been integrated into the production process. The Prüfer Digital, for example, is an automatic station equipped with an artificial vision system that checks different parts of the vehicle. Another essential system is the Smart Plug, used in the assembly of electronic control units, enabling remote production for up to 45 cars simultaneously. The KTL Oven, the first 100% electric transversal oven in the Volkswagen Group, has also been introduced, reducing energy consumption by up to 25%.
